Physically, it doesn't have layers like slate does, but it has a grain structure
which runs in one direction similar to that of slate. Under shortwave
ultraviolet, you can see it's solid Willemite.
The size of this specimen is 3 1/2" long X 3" wide X 1 1/8" thick.
