Empty Carousel Platform
Note the platform floor is shiny from several coats of polyurethane. The scenery of the upper sweeps and background. There may be decorative patterns under coats of white paint.
The carousel's original color was green. Peeling white paint reveals the green color, but this green is not the original green. Large picture frames has gold (not gold leaf) underneath layers of white paint.

Few of the background panels will be removed, and be sent to an expert who specializes in removing one layer of paint at a time. Once the original layer has been exposed. If original design is found, it will then be photographed.
